A sentence which gives an outline of the contents of a paragraph

Normally at the beginning of a paragraph (but sometimes at the end)

It gives details on one of the arguments in a paragraph.

7. what often comes after a supporting sentence?

Development by using an example.

8. what do you usually find in a comclusion?

A summary of the main arguments, often with an opinion or recommendation.
